Eating a heart-healthy diet that is lower in fat helps reduce your risk for high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity which are all attributed to memory loss. You can eat various foods that will enhance your memory, such as blueberries, dark chocolate, broccoli, and more. Participating in cognitive activities and keeping your brain active are great ways to slow down your memory decline. Mental activities have been proven to be very beneficial in slowing down the deterioration of memory loss. These activities include writing, reading, or playing games that stimulate the brain. Participating in cognitive activities at least twice a week will help you slow down the decline in memory loss.
